What do you wish for?

Do you base our choices on what you want, or what you think you're supposed to want? Let yourself feel what you feel and want what you want, THEN engage your mind in the process. The best wishes are born from your heart.

Hail and Welcome Brothers and Sisters! You are invited to join us in the Blue Moon full moon circle for women and men together. That's right, lunar sacred space together!

We in CAYA like to embrace these rare occasions when two full moons occur in a month (providing that occasion coincides with our Full Moon schedule) as a moment of unity in our community. We merge some of our masculine and feminine lunar-work and allow ourselves to be free to enjoy each other's energy. While there are some secrets we dare not reveal with the other circles, there is so much we have to share. Permit yourself to explore how the converging energy feels. To share each other's divine and sacred space. To see how the other half prays.

The Grove of Artemis continues their exploration of the Eight Confucian Virtues by looking at Loyalty. Join us as we explore how we are joined in community. How we adjust with each other as we connect through a common fabric. We weave the threads together as our magic binds us to community, like a flexible, yet fragile web.
The Brotherhood of the Moon spirals further through the Components of Ritual. This moon finds us looking outward from the Center. After all the Quarters are set. After we have centered ourselves, we are also at the Center of the circle. From there, we reach out to our family, our friends, our community, to eternity.
NOTE: The priestesses of CAYA's South Bay Grove of Hekate are coming to join the priestesses of East Bay's Grove of Artemis, helping light the way forward with beauty, grace and mystery.

Please come join us as we oh-so-temporarily allow ourselves to experience a hint of each other's moonmagic. Celebrate the diversity of the full tribe. Dare to share your sacred self. We are very excited to share space as we work with the twin celestial deities of Dahomey mythology, Mawa (Sun Goddess), Lisa (Moon God) as well as Mawu-Lisa (formed by the merger of the twins), creators of the universe, earth, intellect and technology. We'll also welcome Anansi, the keeper of stories, and Grandmother Spider, connector of all things.

As usual, we encourage you to bring along drums, rattles or shakers, as well as any photos or other items you wish to charge at the altar.

Farewell to the Grove of Hekate

We regret that due to changes in the lives of CAYA South Bay Clergy, we will no longer be able to offer Grove of Hekate Circles.

We welcome our South Bay coveners to join us in the East Bay.
The CAYA South Bay Yahoo Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CAYASouthBay
the CAYA Chat Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CAYAChat
and the CAYA Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=72983049835&ref=ts
are good resources for forming carpools.  I hope to see familiar South Bay faces at our upcoming East Bay circles!
